    I’ve been a fan of KVD Beauty since its original launch in 2008, back when it was created by Kat Von D. Over the years, especially the lip products, the KVD brand has truly grown up with me. The colors, the consistency, and the formula have always been unmatched, but nothing has ever compared to Lolita and Lolita II. Those shades are, without a doubt, my holy grails.

    When Lolita first came out, it felt like a perfect match, one of those rare shades that just works effortlessly. I’ve gone through countless tubes over the years and still have a few of the originals with just the tiniest remnants left. At this point, they honestly feel like keepsakes, almost a little piece of beauty history I’ve held onto as the brand has evolved.

    After finally running out of another longtime favorite, Queen of Hearts, I went searching to see what was still available. I was relieved to find the brand still exists, but the selection feels limited compared to what it once was. I immediately ordered a couple of lip liners that come closest to that iconic Lolita shade, hoping to hold onto that color as long as I can.

    I truly hope the brand brings back the original Lolita (and the rest of those classic shades) someday. Until then, I’ll keep stocking up on anything that comes close. It’s one of those rare colors that looks incredible on everyone I’ve ever seen wear it and honestly, it deserves a permanent place in every makeup bag.
